The Kangaroo Club is a UK registered charity, run entirely by volunteers, which aims to help support anyone with an ileo-anal pouch or a Kock pouch and their families. It is also for anyone considering ieo-anal pouch surgery or Koch pouch surgery.

We would be delighted if you would join us. There is no fee.

We aim to make membership of the Kangaroo Club a way of easily exchanging information, between pouch owners but also the medical profession and drug companies.

We try to do this by the following means:

• This Website. We aim to make it a useful and on-going source of information for anyone with, or considering, an ileo-anal pouch or a Kock pouch and their families.
• Membership of Facebook Group. Please join by clicking here or a Facebook Page link under ‘Resources’. It is a private group, so the Group Admin needs to add you as member, following which you will be able to discuss anything with other members (discussions must of course adhere to the group guidelines). It is important to note however that this is only a support group, so if you need medical help and advice you should consult a qualified medical professional.
• E-mail Communication. We e-mail all members at the very least bi-annually, about information days, new information on the website and keeping them informed.
• Information Days. We aim to hold these annually at a venue in Oxford, UK.
